Lawson's 2 Month Appt.

Little Lawson turned 2 months on Sunday and had his appt. on Tues. poor little guy got his shots :(

Below are his stats which are identical to Adrians stats when she was 4 Months...I was pretty surprised when I saw that. The height and weight match up perfectly to the ounce but he is 2 months younger. I didn't realize he was so much bigger then Adrian was at that age.

Height: 25 inches (99%)

Weight: 13.10 lbs (78%)

HC: 15 1/2 (55%)

 Here is a picture of Adrian at 4 mos...the same size of Lawson now :)

I think they look a lot alike except Lawson doesn't have the dark defined eyebrows and his hair is a light brown/red tint.

Rain & Racing

Adrian broke in her rain boots last week!

 On Sat we cheered on Grandma and Jamie running the Dam-to-Dam. We got lots of smiles and comments on the poster below.

Big Boy!

Lawson is really filling out and is strong like his sister Adrian was when she was little. He will be 2 mos coming up on June 2nd!!! I still have about 3 1/2 more weeks of maternity leave which is flying by. I snapped these photos yesterday and this morning. He has lost a lot of his hair in the front but hopefully it start growing back soon. I am not sure if you can tell looking at the last picture but his hair has a "red" tint to it. I will have to snap a photo of his fuzzy red hair on the back of his head sometime :) His eye lashes and eyebrows are blonde so I think he will be blonde like I was when I was little.

Small smile...we just started getting smiles the last couple weeks :)

Race and Polk City Rockets!

Adrian's 1st race of 2013 @ Earth Day in Valley Junction. The picture isn't the best but Adrian in wearing the yellow shirt on the left burning past the competition. Grandma Harden is trailing in the back for extra support and encouragement.

 This Sat. was Adrian's 1st tee ball game. I will get some action shots at the next game but we took this one before we headed to Bondurant. It was very cute and all the girls did great. The cutest thing during the game was when Adrian stopped a grounder and threw it to 1st base and looked over at Mitch and gave him a thumbs up :) Sweetest thing ever seeing that smile and little thumb sticking up!

Week 3 Update

Yesterday was Lawson's 3 Week B-day!!! He has changed so much and is growing so fast. Last week he had his 2 week appt which went great. Here are some of his stats: Weight: 9lbs (59%); Height: 22 inches (96%). His stats are pretty close to Adrians, but weighs a little more then she did. Three nights ago I started having him sleep in his big crib which has been going pretty well. He wakes up twice to nurse but other then that he does pretty good.  

I snapped some photos of Lawson this morning! 

The photos went from alert Lawson, yawning, tired, and lastly upset all within 30 seconds :)

2013 Spring School Pictures

Adrian had her school pictures taken April 2nd, which turned out good for as hectic as it was that morning. We had to have her dropped off by 7am to get downtown by 7:30 for my C-section that morning. School pics have come a long way since I was in kid.  They have fun backgrounds and photo props now :)

Lawson Michael Noel

Lawson arrived one week ago from today! Below are some of his stats:

Birthdate: 4-2-2013

Time: 9:59am

Weight: 8lbs. 3oz.

Length: 20in.

Lawson has been a great little baby. He rarely cries and seems like a pretty laid back little boy. We are getting settled in good at home and I am looking forward to the next several weeks I will have with Lawson. I return to work June 19th, taking a total of 11 weeks of maternity leave.

 This is my attempt at taking "semi-professional" pics since we didn't buy the ones at hospital.

 It isn't easy getting a newborn positioned for a picture while staying asleep.

Baby Tatum

A couple weeks ago Adrian and I babysat little Tatum so Aunt Jamie could go shopping and get a much needed break :) Adrian loved helping me with the feedings, diaper changes and thought Tatum needed every possible toy even though she can't hold anything yet.

This past weekend the 4 of us girls traveled back to Rockford for a short visit so we get the chance to swim at the Osage Aquatic Center.

 Grandma Harden & Adrian swimming around...the water was a nice 86 degrees. Adrian keeps getting more and more adventurous in the water. For the 1st time she was willing to let go and swim around on her own wearing her life jacket. Adrian is pretty cautious when it comes to swimming.

It was nice to get the chance to get home before the baby comes. It is weird to think that the next time we travel back to Rockford it will be with our new addition.

 

Nursery Complete!

7 more weeks to go and the nursery has been complete for a couple of weeks now. Just need the baby to come now :) I find myself going in the room often and turning on the lamp at night because it looks to cute in there. I got a few ideas from pinterst for the decor including the ribbon mobile below which hangs over the changing table.

 Here I took a bunch of sewing looms and hung with different types of fabric.

26 Weeks

Today I am 26 weeks along and looking like 32 :) I have an ultrasound in a week so I am anxious to see if I am measuring ahead...hopefully not. So far I am feeling good just annoyed with being pregnant during the winter. It is much easier to be able to wear dresses and flip-flop then it is to wear jeans and the winter coat. Adrian is super excited to be a BIG sister and she tells other often :) She says I am having a "brother"...we have explained several times that he is a "brother" to her :)
