Little bundle of joy!

Trip Home!

We checked out of the hospital Friday, Oct. 24th at 10am for the big trip home!

Adrian's 1st Kiss

Adrian's Birthday

Oct. 22nd Mitch & I arrived at Mercy Hospital at 6:30am for my induction. Labor progressed steady, and at 1pm I received an epidural. Thank God for epidurals!! I started pushing at 4:45pm and at 6:45pm, Adrian was a little stuck. It was decided that forceps would be needed, Adrian came soon after. I got to hold her a little before they took her to the nursery for oxygen. At 9:30pm I left recovery and got to my room for the night. They brought Adrian in soon after.

Official stats:
Adrian Lynn Noel
Born: 7:01 pm on Oct. 22nd

Due Date Today!

I had my final appt. this morning, in which I did have some progress (80% effaced, full 2 cm dilated). The good news is that tomorrow morning they are going to induce me, so hopefully we will have our little girl soon!

We'll keep everyone posted!

Week 39

Doctor's Appointment Update:

I had my appt. this morning, which the doctor stated that I was measuring a little small, so he ordered an ultrasound. This was to check the level of amniotic fluid, to make sure it wasn't too low. At the ultrasound the technician confirmed that the level of fluid was just fine, the baby is measuring healthy, but small. The estimated weight is 6lbs. 13 oz. which is in the 27th percentile. If I don't have the baby before my due date on Tues. the 21st I have scheduled another ultrasound, stress test for the baby, and then my regular appt.

Week 38

Doctor's Appointment Update:

Well I'm now 38 weeks and 2 days! I had my weekly appt. today, I am dilated 1-2 and effaced 70%. I was nice to hear no weight gain from last week, so I think I have plateaued off.

I am enjoying being off work. Yesterday I ran some errands and relaxed. Today, I got the base & car seat installed. I feel like you need an engineering degree to install the seat, so I called the Polk City Police and they are going to come over tonight to check the car seat to make sure it is installed properly. I've read nearly 85% of people install the car seat improperly, so this should give me peace of mind.

37 1/2 Weeks!

Week 37 Update:

Well, last week I had my weekly doctor appt. which I found out I am dialated to a "one" and the baby is head down. I have week 38 appt. this Wed. so I am anxious to see if there have been any changes.

I am also done with work after Monday, Oct. 6th, which I will use the next 2 weeks to get ready for the baby. I am taking 9 weeks off after the baby is born, I won't return to work until the week of X-mas, so I am really excited about having the time off. With Mitch working from home it will be nice to have him there while I am on maternity leave.
