The house is moving right along. The drywall was completed this weekend. The siding is a little slow going since the temps have been so cold. The house won't be painted until warmers temps return next year. (Pic taken 11/14/14)

I have been bad about taking pictures because every time I go by the house they are always out working on it. Things are moving along fast. We are on track to have the home finished Dec. 31st. The driveway was poured yesterday before the cold temps started. (Pic taken 11/10/14)

The cement has been poured for the basement & garage floor. Framing is next!

Forms for the basement walls (Sept. 15th)

On Friday (Sept. 12th) the footings for our foundation were poured.

December 1st 2013 was when we started living in a rental townhome in Ankeny, because we sold our home in Polk City. There were no rentals available in Polk City at that time. Yesterday they finally broke ground on our new home back in Polk City. We have missed living back there so much! We will be the 1st house in the new Lost Lakes housing development close to the West edge of town. I will try and take periodic pics to add to this posting for the house.
