Lawson 6 Months

Lawson turned 6 mos on Oct. 2nd! I snapped 100 pics on Sat. and these 4 turned out...not good odds :)  He is such a big boy...I just packed away his 9 mo. clothes and he is now wearing size 12 mos. The overalls in the pics below are actually 18 mos.

Weight: 20 lbs (87%)
Height: 29 inches (99%)
HC: 17 inches (42%)
 

 Lawson...
~ Is an easy going...happy baby
~ Loves to chew on your fingers and drool constantly
~ Loves watching Adrian play
~ Rocks back and forth on all fours
~ Swivels on his belly to reach for things
~ Gets 4-5 bottles a day 8 oz. of formula each!
~ Already does the "alligator roll" during diaper changes to make it challenging for mom :)
~ Loves taking baths
~ Still sleeps through the night
~ Loves when mommy sings and does the leg/arm motions to the lyrics "Running just as fast as we can..."



Cell Phone Pics

Below are some random pics I have taken over the last couple of weeks on my phone and I wanted to make sure to get them documented on the blog.

This was taken last night...Lawson has started doing this and will rock back and forth. Crawling is right around the corner for him.

This past weekend I decided to dust off my old curlers from high school and try them out on Adrian. At first she didn't look to thrilled :)  

I wish I had that hair!

This is Adrian's 3rd dentist cleaning and she does just wonderful there!

Lawson can sit up pretty good for not quite 6 mos. Every now and then he will lose his balance and fall over though.

I babysat Tatum back in August...this was our walk to the park. And yes I did carry Lawson in my Baby Bjorn :)

Blank Park Zoo

A couple weeks ago we went to the Blank Park Zoo...I am finally getting my post up. Adrian had a good time as always. This was her 3rd trip to the zoo this year :)

Adrian is becoming quite the artist...she can draw & paint pretty good.

Lawson's 4 Month Appt.

Lawson had his 4 month appointment this afternoon. I didn't have any questions other then he has a few dry patches of skin so the Dr. told me to use some cortizone cream to clear up. Below are his stats which pass even Adrian's stats at 6 months!

Height: 27 3/4 (99%)

Weight: 17.11 lbs (87%)

HC: 16 3/4 (74%)

Lawson....

sleeps through the night (since 9 weeks)

is a smiley baby

coos & babbles a bunch

grabs and puts anything he can get a hold of in his mouth

loves watching Adrian play

doesn't care to go on car rides

cuddles with his giraffe blanket

 I struggle getting a good smile from him when I am behind the camera.

Lawson's Baptism

Last Sat. July 13th Lawson was Baptized at the Granger, IA Assumption Catholic Church. He was a trooper and did great.  Standing up for him as God Parents were Aunt Jamie Newel, Uncle Joe Noel, & Uncle Nick Noel. Thank You so much!!

Lawson @ 3 Months Old!

I took this pic a couple weeks ago when Lawson turned 3 months old! I also wanted to document some of his big accomplishments.

• Rolled from his belly to his back (June 21st)
• Rolled from his back to his belly (July 10th)
• Lawson now coos and grabs at his toys
• Still sleeps through the night (typically 8:30pm-6:15am)
• Continues to be a cutie and cuddlier :)

At daycare each day I receive a sheet with what Lawson did for naps,feedings, and changings. I received this one a few weeks ago :)

Happy 4th of July!

I got the kids to pose for me before we headed up North for the 4th. Spent some time at the McIntosh campground in Ventura with family.

Adrian's 1st Dance Recital

 Adrian had her 1st dance recital last week with 2 shows on Sat. Adrian did a great job even though it was a very long day of dance from 12-8pm. She only takes Tap...we may see if she would like to try hip-hop or Jazz Dance this Fall.
